WWE's return to Canada in January appears canceled

UPDATE – 4:40 PM ET

WWE has issued the following statement as it relates to our earlier report.

The WWE Friday Night SmackDown live event scheduled for January 21, 2022 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg has been rescheduled to Friday, September 30.

The WWE Supershow live event scheduled for January 22, 2022 at the Brandt Centre in Regina has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 1.

The WWE Supershow live event scheduled for January 23, 2022 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon has been rescheduled and will now be WWE Live on Sunday, October 2.

The WWE Monday Night Raw live event scheduled for January 24, 2022 at Rogers Place in Edmonton has been rescheduled to Monday, September 26.

Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.ca and all originally purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

It appears that WWE’s return to Canada in January 2022 has been canceled.

WWE scheduled the following dates, events and locations in Canada for January 2022:

-Friday January 21 – Winnipeg – Friday Night Smackdown

-Saturday January 22 – Regina – Supershow Live Event

-Sunday January 23 – Saskatoon -Supershow Live event

Monday January 24 – Edmonton – Monday Night Raw

The events as shown above for each venue still indicates tickets going sale December 10, but are no longer listed on the WWE website. Instead the same dates and events are on the WWE website for locations in the United States with tickets on sale December 10.

-Friday January 21 – Nashville, TN – Friday Night SmackDown

-Saturday January 22 – Corbin, KY-Supershow Live Event

-Sunday January 23 – Huntington, WV Supershow Live Event

-Monday January 24 – Toledo, OH – Monday Night Raw

As of this report, WWE has yet to comment on these changes.
