As reported earlier, WWE has sold 50,000 tickets so far for Wrestlemania 27 for a gate of $5 million. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Wrestlemania has topped a $5 million gate four times before in the years from 2007 to 2010.
The record is Wrestlemania 25 in Houston doing a $7,211,673 gate.
