As first reported by Fightful Select, then PWInsider and F4WOnline, Brian Kendrick has received his WWE release, and is no longer under contract.
AEW then announced that Kendrick will make his debut against Jon Moxley on Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, live from the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL.
Kendrick, 42, served as both a producer and coach for NXT and 205 Live, but had not been an active in-ring performer since October 2020.
