Former WWE on-air talent Ricardo Rodriguez (real name Jesus Rodriguez) announced he entering into rehab for what is more than likely for a relapse of alcohol abuse.
Rodriguez has been open about his issues with alcoholism in the past. Last May, he celebrated one year of sobriety. He took to Twitter to announce he is headed back for treatment, and that he is pulling out from all of his bookings until further notice.
He was first signed to a WWE developmental deal back in 2010 to work as a wrestler in FCW, but then worked as a manager. On the August 20, 2010 episode of SmackDown, he made his debut as Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer He was released by WWE on July 30, 2014.
Rodriguez tried out for the AEW Spanish commentary team in October of last year.
