As first reported by PWInsider, then F4WOnline, The Grizzled Young Veterans’ new NXT in-ring names have been changed.
Zack Gibson will be known as “Rip Fowler” and James Drake will be known as “Jagger Reid” going forward. The team has not appeared on NXT 2.0 TV since losing a tag team match to Legado del Fantasma back in April.
There has been much speculation that Gibson & Drake are Joe Gacy’s “cloaked” tag team The Dyad.
A promo aired on NXT 2.0 this past Tuesday, in which Gacy promised The Dyad will reveal themselves on next week’s show.
