The latest news on if Triple H is working backstage at NXT 2.0 TV

Following a cardiac event back in September 2021, Triple H had to take a step back from his responsibilities within WWE. This past March, Triple H announced his retirement from in-ring action. He had also revealed that he has a defibrillator, and as a result, he will never be able to wrestle again.

Shawn Michaels began overseeing NXT while Triple H was absent, and has currently is still in that roll. A month ago, Triple H returned to the WWE Performance Center and told people he was back, which some apparently took that he was back involved with NXT 2.0, which is not the case.

According to a new report by F4WOnline and Fightful, everything is still being run by Shawn Michaels and a small creative staff.

The F4WOnline report notes that Triple H has had a lesser work schedule since returning. He has been involved in WWE’s NIL program, designed to recruit college athletes. He is scheduled to be on hand for the tryouts during SummerSlam weekend.
