Bobby Lashley will defend the United States Championship in a Steel Cage Match on the Clash at the Castle fallout episode of this Monday’s WWE Raw, which will take place live from the T-Mobile Center in Kanas City, Missouri.
The match was set up by a challenge made by The Miz on Twitter, saying that he would have defeated Lashley on last Monday’s Raw if it was not for Dexter Lumis. The Miz then went on to say the wants to make the title relevant, wants the title to be represented on every PPV, and wants it to be represented bigger than any other title in WWE.
Lashley responded to The Miz on Twitter and accepted the challenge. Lashley then said the way for the title to gain respect, honor, and credibility is if it stays out of the hands of people like The Miz. Lashley then closed by promising to make an example out of The Miz inside the steel cage.
The Miz lost to Lashley on last Monday’s episode of Raw, after being distracted by Lumis appearing in the crowd. The previous week, The Miz was kidnapped by Lumis.
