Florida Championship Wrestling has just announced that its Summer Slamarama show Friday July 22nd in Melbourne will feature a special appearance by RAW Superstar John Morrison! Morrison, who has been recovering from an injury the past several months, seems eager to be part of the show, and– just maybe– the action. Melbourne fans are lucky enough to be the first to see “The Monday Night Delight” since coming off his injury. Along with John Morrison, the show features a meet-and-greet autograph session with two-time WWE Champion Sheamus, Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov, Jey and Jimmy Uso, Mason Ryan, Johnny Curtis, Jinder Mahal, Brodus Clay, Ricardo Rodriguez, Kaitlyn and more.
FCW President Steve Keirn has made it clear that with all the WWE Superstars appearing ,that there will undoubtedly be huge, earth-shattering matches. In fact, the main event will be like nothing Melbourne has ever experienced before: two-time WWE Champion Sheamus teams up with Florida Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo to take on Monday Night RAW’s Drew McEntyre and NXT Superstar Lucky Cannon.
Also scheduled is a special RAW vs. SMACKDOWN CHALLENGE MATCH, including the hilarious Santino Marella and his tag-team partner Vladimir Koslov, as well as Smackdown Superstars Jimmy and Jey Uso. With Santino in the ring, Melbourne fans are absolutely guaranteed to be entertained. “Yes, I almost can’t believe it: Santino Marella will be here, in the flesh!” Marella comically reminds us. “It will be just like having my action figure there, except, you know, I’m taller. And I can talk.”
There are six other exciting matches scheduled for the event, as well as the interactive Fan Fest before the show, giving fans the chance to meet and take photos with WWE, NXT and FCW Superstars. There will also be fan give-aways, contests, and a Superstar Singing Showdown. Tickets are selling at a rapid pace, as this event is expected to be the biggest wrestling show Melbourne has ever seen.
FCW comes to the Melbourne Auditorium, which is located at 625 E Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901. Bell time is at 7:30pm, with doors opening at 6:30 for the Fan Fest.
