Michael Pavone, the Executive Vice President of WWE Studios, has officially resigned from WWE. The official line from WWE was that Pavone left the company to pursue other interests. Pavone was part of two recent projects – “The Chaperone” and “That’s What I Am” – both of which were multi-million dollar losers. He also was one of many looking over the relaunch of “Tough Enough” this year that received critical praise, but performed a point lower in the ratings than USA had been doing in that same time slot.
