WWE Hall of Famer reportedly “pitched having a match” against Brock Lesnar

According to a report by F4WOnline, WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin had been pitched a having a match against Brock Lesnar for this year’s WrestleMania in Los Angeles.

Fightful Select reported on Monday that a match for Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns was brought up by Austin for WrestleMania 39.

The report from F4WOnline also notes a match between Lesnar and Gunther was rejected, saying that was not the original idea and was a secret. It was also further said that the talk for a match with Austin was also a secret.

Lesnar made his return to WWE during Monday’s Raw is 30, appearing toward the end of the Austin Theory vs.Bobby Lashley in a No DQ match for United States Championship. Lesnar cost Lashley the match by hitting and F-5 on Lashley and then hitting an F-5 on Theory, dropping him on Lashley, allowing Theory to get the pin.
