Singer Adele has said that she has always wanted to meet Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but never has – until Sunday night.
At the top of the 2023 Grammy Awards that aired Sunday night on CBS from the Cypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, host Trevor Noah walked over to Adele’s table and said that while he did not have somebody called “Dwayne Johnson” there, he did have somebody called “The Rock.” Johnson then walked up behind Adele’s seat, and then greeted her with a huge smile and then followed up by giving her a hug.

Adele took home a 2023 Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Easy on Me.” Her song was nominated alongside Bad Bunny’s “Moscow Mule,” Doja Cat’s “Woman,” Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” and Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit.”
