How did Dave Bautista’s new film do this past weekend at the box office?

Former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista’s newest film Knock At The Cabin debuted in the No. 1 spot at the box office in the United States this past weekend.

According to Box Office Mojo, the new film from M. Knight Shyamalan, brought in $14.2 million domestically and just over $7 million internationally.  

The plot for the film and the trailer are below:

“While vacationing at a remote cabin in the woods, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand they make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. Confused, scared and with limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”

Last month, Dave Bautista told GQ he is done playing Drax The Destroyer after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He said that he wants to play in more dramatic movie roles going forward.
