WWE Hall of Famer and current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Lita made a surprise appearance at the Hoodslam Wrestling show on Friday night March 3. The event was held at the Line51 Brewing Co. in Oakland, CA.

Lita entered the ring and told the fans how excited she was to be at a Hoodslam show. The fans chanted her name before she handed the mic off to Dark Sheik and then left the ring.

Prior to her return at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble, Lita trained with Hoodslam wrestlers Dark Sheik, Anton Voorhees and the Stoner Brothers (Ricky and Scotty Stoner).

According to Wikipedia, Hoodslam is an underground professional wrestling event that takes place in Oakland, California. The promotion was created in 2010 by Sam Khandaghabadi as a regular gathering for wrestlers who wanted to perform edgier acts for adults. They hold shows every month in Oakland, attracting over 1,000 fans each month. Hoodslam is known for performances that combine the athleticism and tropes of professional wrestling with more bizarre, absurd characters, as well as profanity, sexuality, and public consumption of drugs and alcohol, which are not considered appropriate at mainstream professional wrestling events.

Lita teamed up with Becky Lynch on last week’s episode of WWE Raw to defeat Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY), to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, with some help from the returning WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
