The in-ring return of Matt Riddle for Monday’s WWE RAW was pulled from the lineup sometime before the show began, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Speaking on the matter on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said he was unsure why the match was canceled, other than the decision was reportedly made before any of the flight issues he heard about came up. This is related to the issue of many talent being unable to make the show due to delays in travel from Orlando, just some of what led to a big rewrite of this past Monday’s show.
