Following up on an earlier report on Bill Goldberg looking to do a self-promoted retirement tour, a longtime promoter and agent has talked to Haus of Wrestling on some potential plans for such an event.
Rick Bassman has stated he is in touch with Goldberg to work on a date for a show in Jerusalem, aiming for September. He also mentions the possibility of getting Sting involved, pending AEW clearance issues.
Bassman does touch on the possibility of Goldberg returning to WWE for “something massive” in light of conversations had with Goldberg and his agent, Barry Bloom.
As noted in previous reports, plans for a retirement tour come after what the WWE Hall of Famer felt was a snub from WWE not following up on plans for a retirement match despite agreeing to the terms after he competed at Elimination Chamber 2022.
