The weeks leading up to WrestleMania 39 saw some big moments throughout WWE, including WWE Hall of Famer Lita teaming with Becky Lynch and winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Looking back on it in an interview with Mark Andrews on the podcast My Love Letter to Wrestling, Lynch seemed unsure whether that title run was actually a part of the main plan, but rather a side road.
Becky would go on to state that Lita had become a friend and a mentor over the years, and that the 2022 program with the Hall of Famer was one that she is proud of.
