Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson, who recently filed a lawsuit against wrestler Abdullah The Butcher, has also filed a suit against WWE seeking $6 million. Nicholson, who claims to have contracted Hepatitis C from Butcher, had his contract with WWE that was offered to him on 6/5/2009 rescinded on 8/28/2009 when it was discovered that Nicholson had Hepatitis C by means of medical testing required for employment.
According to Slam Wrestling, Nicholson seeks the following in the suit:
– Damages for wrongful dismissal and/or breach of contract in the amount of $600,000
– Damages for injury to dignity, feelings and self respect under the Ontario Human Rights Code, in the amount of $250,000
– Aggravated and punitive damages in the amount of $5,000,000
