Sami Zayn, one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, took to Twitter on Thursday to comment on his experience being in Saudi Arabia this week.
In the past Zayn has not been allowed into Saudi Arabia, because of his Syrian descent. However, due to Syria and Saudi Arabia resuming diplomatic relations earlier this month, Zayn is allowed into the country.
Zayn and Kevin Owens will defend the tag team championships at the Night of Champions premium live event, this Saturday, which takes place at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event will air live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, with a start time of 1:00 pm ET.
