WWE’s Night of Champions event, which took place on May 27 from Saudi Arabia, has reportedly gone over very well with the company, noted by PWInsider as being ‘extremely happy’ with the numbers coming in.
The show had the highest viewership of any Premium Live Event held in the country to date, topping the previous record of last November’s Crown Jewel by 18 percent.
WWE Night of Champions featured the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defending their titles against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikola in the main event, as well as the finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins and other title matches.
