Vince McMahon reportedly made some “drastic changes” to Monday’s WWE Raw

According to Fightful Select, Vince McMahon made changes remotely to the opening segment of Monday’s WWE Raw.

Monday’s show started off with Finn Balor brutally attacking World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and giving him a beatdown. However, per the report, the segment as aired may not have been the original plan. It was further said that the opener for Monday’s WWE Raw reportedly received some “drastic changes” before the show went live on the air.

The report further notes McMahon was said to have made the changes to apparently “bear the brunt of his attention.”

Balor’s attack came after Rollins was in the ring, as the fans were singing to his entrance theme. The opener was reportedly going to be an open challenge by Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, before anyone could answer the challenge, Balor viciously attacked Rollins and hit him with three Coup de Grace’s. Raw then went a commercial break. After the break, Balor continued his attack on Rollins backstage.

Rollins is set to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Balor at Money in the Bank on July 1 in London England.

WWE Money in the Bank takes place on Saturday, July 1 from the 02 Arena in London, England. The event will air live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, beginning at 3:00 pm ET/12:00 pm PT.
