Big E gives health update, uncertain of timetable for return

After over a year away from the ring due to injury, Big E is still uncertain as to when he will be cleared to compete once more.

Speaking to Corey Graves on the After the Bell podcast this week, the former WWE Champion said he was feeling great but had no timetable on his return:

“I feel great, man. Unfortunately, I don’t have a timetable but the great thing is I feel 100%, I don’t even feel like someone who broke their neck. My mobility is incredible, it’s great. My strength is great, I have no issues whatsoever. I wish I had some answers on returning to the ring, I got nothing, unfortunately.

The really beautiful thing is I feel great, body feels great, I’m really thankful for that. Life is good, I’m blessed. I can walk around, I can touch my toes, I can go to the gym, all those things.”

Big E sustained injury on the March 11, 2022 edition of SmackDown, fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae from landing on his head following an overhead suplex.

He previously gave an update in April, saying he’d had scans done but had yet to speak with doctors on the results.
