Around 40,000 tickets were sold so far for Wrestlemania 28 in Miami this past weekend reports The Wrestling Observer. WWE issued a press release on Monday noting it was the highest grossing first day of ticket sales in company history for a Wrestlemania doing $6.3 million. The show is expected to sell out and hit near the $8-$9 million gate range. It would end up being the highest grossing WWE and pro wrestling event in history.
