Although former WWE CEO Linda McMahon had stated she would be accepting campaign contributions in her latest run for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut, her first public fundraiser report showed of the $1.2 million spent, only $1,400 of that came from public contributions. McMahon had spent over $40 million in her last campaign attempt in 2010.
