According to a report from Deadline, Premiere Entertainment Group has acquired world rights to the Swen Studios family comedy F Plus starring former UFC champion Randy Couture.
Also cast in the film are Tommy Davidson, Jennifer Esposito, and former WWE Champion Ettore “Big E” Ewen, among others.
The studio recently wrapped production in Orlando on the film, notably one of the first to be granted a SAG-AFTRA waiver to continue filming during the union strike.
The article makes note of this being Couture’s first family film, having previously starred in the entirety of the franchise The Expendables to date, along with appearances in Blowback, Demon Pit, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
F Plus is directed by Kenny Beaumont from an original screenplay by Jonathan Davenport, and will be introduced to domestic and international buyers during the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
