Florida Championship Wrestling Results

Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest trek to the land of the Sunshine State with this week’s FCW report. So, if you all are ready, then let’s get on with the show!
Our announcers this week are Chris Russo & Byron Saxton.
FCW 15 Title: Damien Sandow (c) defeated Dean Ambrose 3-0 to retain the title. After the match, Ambrose attacked Sandow and put him in the Regal Stretch, leaving him unconscious.
FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Really nice back and forth match. Ambrose loses nothing with the shutout, especially with the post-match beatdown. Sandow sold the beatdown great, with the rolling of the eyes, as it added a dangerous aspect to Ambrose’s madman character, Heel-Heel matches don’t usually work, but this one did. Good stuff.
FCW Divas Champion Audrey Marie defeated Naomi by pinfall with the Round Up.
FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Not a good match at all. Marie is still green and Naomi is just not good in the ring. They tried their best, but it wasn’t good.
Mr. Antonio Cesaro defeated Leakee by pinfall with a rollup and holding on to Leakee’s tights for leverage.
FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Solid back and forth match between these two. Good cheap victory for Cesaro as Leakee had him on the ropes, but he cheated to win. It protects Leakee, and adds some more heat on Cesaro. Good effort.
Main Event: Richie Steamboat and Seth Rollins went to a No Contest when Husky Harris ran in and attacked Steamboat. After the match, the FCW wrestlers hold the referees back so that Steamboat and Harris can brawl to close the show.
FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Post-match brawl with Harris and Steamboat was solid, but the match wasn’t. Rollins tried to make it interesting, but Steamboat is just so uninteresting as a heel and not good in-ring wise so it failed to deliver in my book.
Overall, 2 really good matches, but also 2 not so good matches makes this an even show. I would recommend checking out Ambrose/Sandow and Cesaro/Leakee, but that’s about it.
My Grade: C+
