After being released by WWE in late September, Matt Riddle has been announced for his first booking outside of WWE by way of Big Time Wrestling, as revealed by Bobby Fulton on social media:
The announcement pits Riddle against a man many fans have compared him to in Rob Van Dam, for an event titled The Reunion 3: Cavalcade of Legends in Chillicothe, Ohio. Tickets are currently available for the event at this link.
Riddle was released from WWE after five years in the company, becoming a RAW and NXT Tag Team Champion as well as the United States Champion.
He and Van Dam have had interactions before, including WWE’s The Bump in 2021.
