In the midst of MLW teasing discussions with “several high-profile free agents,” a potential spoiler for an incoming star may have emerged.
Fans in attendance at the Battleground Championship Wrestling event over the weekend in Philadelphia were given fliers advertising the upcoming MLW show Kings of Colosseum, scheduled to take place on 1/6.
Per Fightful, the fliers advertise former WWE star Matt Riddle taking on Jacob Fatu for the event emanating from the 2300 Arena (known at one time as the ECW Arena).
Riddle was released by WWE on September 22, and previously advertised for MCW Pro Wrestling’s Winter Blast in February and Big Time Wrestling’s The Reunion 3: Calvalcade of Legends in March.
