Actor Paul Walter Hauser thanks DDP, mentions Matt Cardona during Emmys

Actor Paul Walter Hauser won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor, for Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at Monday’s ceremony for his role in Black Bird.

During his acceptance speech on Monday, Hauser performed a rap and claimed he was “about to beat Matt Cardona.” Hauser and Cardona are set to square off at Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Ready or Not event at the Horizon Events Center, which will take place in Clive, Iowa on Saturday, March 16. 

Also during his award acceptance speech, Hauser thanked WWE Hall of Famer DDP, name dropped the Wolfpac, Kota Ibushi, and then also said “getting the tables.”

Hauser also previously won a Golden Globe for his role in Black Bird.

The 75th Annual Emmy Awards aired Monday night on FOX, live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

He appeared on the January 11, 2023 episode of Dynamite and then the January 13, 2023 episode of AEW Rampage. On that episode of AEW Rampage, Hauser was attacked by Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt. Following the attack, Jarrett and Lethal carried around Hauser’s Golden Globe award and brought it to the ring during their TV matches.

Back in November, Hauser made his in-ring debut at a Wrestling Revolver event in Los Angeles, where won against Matthew Palmer.
