During his recent appearance on SBO Opening Night, San Francisco 49ers Tight End George Kittle, when asked about the storyline involving The Rock, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, he said that is a fan of all three. He also said he is forever indebted to The Rock for coining the phrase – “The People’s Tight End.” Kittle said he saw an idea online that he likes, which is having The Rock as the guest referee for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title with Reigns defending against Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
At the time of this writing, WWE has not yet confirmed that Reigns will defend the title against The Rock at WrestleMania 40.
A WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Conference conference will be held this Thursday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with The Rock, Reigns, and Cody Rhodes all in attendance.
The press conference will air live on Peacock and all of WWE’s social media platforms, beginning at 7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT.
The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, which takes place this Sunday from Allegiant Stadium, located in Paradise, NV, just outside of Las Vegas.
