Matt Hardy provides update on free agency

On a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the former WWE United States Champion addressed the latest update after entering free agency.

When asked if he was enjoying this time in his life, Hardy said:

Incredibly enjoying it. I’m having a great time. This might spoil me a little bit. I’m in no huge rush to sign anything to be an official employee. I’m digging what I’m doing. I had a couple signings these last couple weeks.

Hardy also made it clear that he was in discussions with AEW and WWE among others, speaking on what comes next and recent teases on social media:

Yeah, I mean, full disclosure, I am doing what I should be doing as a free agent, creating hype around myself. Yes, I have been speaking with AEW constantly. I have been speaking with WWE. I have been speaking with several people across several different platforms.

So I think the next couple weeks are gonna be fun, the next few weeks are gonna be fun. As I said before, I think we’re getting to the point where we’re gonna be doing some pretty cool stuff coming up. So yeah, I am doing what I should be doing.

Hardy’s last match in AEW was on the 1/3 edition of Rampage, teaming with his brother Jeff and Mark Briscoe in a trios match against Kip Sabian and The Butcher & The Blade.
