Following his recent WWE release, Cameron Grimes has been announced for an upcoming independent show in Lexington, North Carolina.
Going by his pre-WWE name of Trevor Lee, the former NXT North American Champion was later revealed to be in action at Elevation Pro Wrestling’s Homecoming event, set to take on fellow North Carolina mainstay Andrew Everett.
The show will mark his first match since the 4/12 edition of WWE SmackDown, facing Bron Breakker in what would be his last bout with the company before being released from his contract.
Grimes was one of several releases in the past couple weeks, which saw the likes of Jinder Mahal, Xia Li, Veer, Von Wagner, Drew Gulak, Gable Steveson, and others from both the main roster and NXT.
