Sean Steiner sent us word that the official Twitter account for the Chicago Cubs extended an invite to WWE Champion CM Punk to sing the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley Field on 5/8 in a game against the Atlanta Braves. Punk responded on Twitter earlier today adding, “Uh. Let me check my schedule. YESIWILLDOIT. May 9th I’m officially out of goals. Back to the lab…. @Cubs.”
