As noted in Mike Tedesco’s 7/3 WWE Smackdown recap, Zack Ryder won a Great American Bash Battle Royal to earn the right to become the General Manager for Smackdown next week. As reported earlier, WWE will be taping Smackdown along with Raw this Monday in Denver, Colorado. The company canceled the Smackdown taping set for Tuesday in Colorado Springs, Colorado due to widespread fires in the area.
