During his appearance on the latest episode of the Bill Simmons podcast, WWE CEO and President Nick Khan spoke on a number of subjects, including if the WWE sees AEW as competition and how WWE uses their talent vs. AEW.
Ricochet responded to Khan’s comments regarding AEW and interest in their talent once they become free agents. the former WWE United States and Intercontinental Champion said that his former employer f—– sucks.
“In terms of the other wrestling promotional company, they have a lot of talented wrestlers and we’re happy about that. When, contractually, they are available to talk to and have conversations with, assume a number of them will come over. Nothing but respect to the father who finances it and owns the Jaguars and all those other things.” – Nick Khan
Khan also said that WWE won’t “bench people” they sign to contracts.
“If another entity signs and benches people now, that’s not something we would do.”
