During her appearance on an episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, WWE Superstar Naomi told the Hall of Famers that she is considering taking time off from the ring to start a family.
“I always wanted kids young. I always wanted a lot. But now I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh. Your girl is getting up there, right?’ I’m 37…there’s no time. I’ve got to figure this out like yesterday.”
Naomi did go on to day that she does have health issues and that if she is going to have kids, the process has to start soon.
I’m definitely leaning towards it, but I also have had health issues. I only have one ovary. So even if I wanted to wrestle longer, my biological clock – I can’t…if we’re going to have kids, I have to start that process very soon. So with that on my mind too and on my plate, I think that makes my time left here even more special and valuable to me. And that’s why I’m just so passionate about what I’m doing, ’cause I really think this might be it.”
Naomi did reveal she does have fear of the actual childbirth, as she had a cousin who died during childbirth.
“Another thing that really scares me is the actual birth. And that’s something we kind of really don’t talk about. I lost my cousin who we grew up with – we were like this. She passed away giving birth to her last. But that scares me as well. But there’s so much love that I give to my family, my nieces, my nephews, my cousins, my step-kids...I do (feel satisfied), but I don’t want to regret later.”
Naomi, who has been married to Jimmy Uso since 2014, is the stepmother to Uso’s two children, aged 16 and 18 he had from a previous relationship.
