Carlito has revealed he’s now officially a free agent and no longer with WWE. He took to Instagram posting a graphic with an apple and “Back In Business.”
The 46-year-old WWC Puerto Rico Champion revealed back on June 1, that WWE would not be renewing his contract.
Carlito initially signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2003. The company released him in 2010. He then spent 10 years working on the independent scene and made a surprise appearance at the 2021 Royal Rumble. WWE signed him to a new contract in 2023, after he returned at Backlash that same year. Upon his return, he would wrestle as part of the LWO faction, but ended up turning heel and leaving the group after it had been revealed he was Dragon Lee’s attacker. After he was drafted to Raw, he continued as a heel and became part of Judgment Day.
