The WWE Vault channel on YouTube has uploaded a set of rare dark matches between the Ultimate Warrior and “Macho Man” Randy Savage from April 1989 and January 1990.
The matches featured take place well before the future WWE Hall of Famers faced off in at WrestleMania 7, a match that saw the Macho Man retire following his loss but a happy ending in his post-match reunion with Miss Elizabeth, and a battle for the WWE (then-WWF) Championship at SummerSlam 1992.
The hidden gem comes just after the Vault uploaded the full match between Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon from King of the Ring 2001, in celebration of the 2025 tournament coming to a close at Night of Champions on June 28.
