During the 9/5 edition of SmackDown, WWE advertised an eight-man tag team match for Worlds Collide featuring La Parka.
Despite the named luchador being the third iteration of the character, however, the company used the likeness of the original La Parka, leading to some confusion and even speculation, to which the former “Chairman of the Board” responded on social media confirming he will not be a part of the event.

You know how they always upload me to confuse people but it’s not me, well the one in the image is me but I’m not going to go
The man now known as LA Park wrestled for AAA and WCW throughout the 1990s, until a dispute between the luchador and AAA led to a second iteration being introduced.
That luchador competed under the La Parka name until he suffered a severe injury in 2019, leading to his death several months later.
The current La Parka, who was introduced by the company in March, will team with Mascarita Sagrada, Octagon Jr., and Nino Hamburguesa to take on Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro.
WWE x AAA Worlds Collide emanates from The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, September 12.
