Top WWE star reportedly “put feelers out about potential options outside of the company”

According to an exclusive report from The Takedown on SI, before AJ Styles signed a one-year contract extension with WWE earlier this year, it was said the former WWE Champion “put feelers out about potential options outside of the company.” It was added that this was done specifically to generate major interest on the convention circuit from promoters, and it was also said the interest was mutual and at least exploratory.

It is believed the 48-year old Styles current deal with WWE will take him through February 2026. However, there has been speculation about his future with the company after he took to Instagram after posting an hourglass graphic containing a fading image of his “P1” logo, which appears to be turning to dust at the bottom.

Just recently, the son of Styles responded to a post on social media from a fan stating that Triple H’s current booking of his dad is disrespectful, as Styles has been on a losing streak the past several months.

The fan says that Triple H’s booking of Styles is legit pissing him off. Styles’s son (ajaayyss), responded by saying, “You ain’t the only one man.”

Styles will be in action on today’s episode of WWE Raw, in a match against El Grande Americano.
