Former WWE champion reveals he still has ‘zero respect’ for Triple H

In an interview with TMZ’s Inside the Ring, MVP reaffirmed comments he made earlier this year regarding his opinion of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, noting that further detail as to why will come at a later time on his own podcast:

I stand by those words. I have zero respect for him personally or professionally. And when I tell why, people will be like okay, that makes sense. Because again, and I’ll just say this, if I say something about you, I will say it to you. And if you come and ask me about what I said, I’m not gonna say I didn’t say it.

The former WWE United States Championship initially stated his thoughts on the company’s chief content officer back in May, stating in an interview that he had issues with Levesque due to personal interactions, but clarified those issues had “nothing to do with race” despite reports to the contrary.

MVP signed with AEW last year, making his debut alongside Shelton Benjamin (and later, Bobby Lashley) as the Hurt Syndicate.
