WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda has reportedly been placed into hospice care, according to his longtime tag team partner and brother-in-law Barry Windham.
Windham revealed the news during an interview with wrestling journalist Bill Apter, saying, “It’s kind of tough right now. You know, Mike is in hospice right now… That family… I love that family but it’s so tragic.”
Rotunda was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024 as part of the U.S. Express tag team with Windham, but he is arguably best known for his time in WWE as I.R.S. in the early-to-mid 1990s. He would later do a version of the character in WCW as Michael Wallstreet.
He is also widely known as the father of Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy) and the late Windham Rotunda, best known as Bray Wyatt, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 36. Rotunda also has a daughter named Mika.
At this time, the exact illness or condition that led to his current hospice placement has not been publicly disclosed by Rotunda or his family.
Wrestleview joins the rest of the wrestling community as we send well wishes to Mike Rotunda and his family during this difficult period.
