Guerrero was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, having graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School (La Jeff) in 1985. On November 13, 2005, Guerrero’s nephew Chavo found him lying unconscious in his hotel room at the Marriott Hotel City Center in Minneapolis. He was 38-years old at the time of his passing. It was later revealed the cause of death was due to heart failure. Eddie was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.
