Fightful Select has reported that Joe Hendry has signed a full-time contract to join WWE, after several appearances for the company over the past year.
Hendry notably had “a number of months that remained” on his contract with TNA, using representation to move forward with WWE.
The former TNA World Champion has not wrestled with the company since late September, and is currently not planned for Turning Point or subsequent TV tapings.
Hendry has appeared frequently on WWE NXT since his debut on the brand in June 2024, and even made appearances on the main roster at the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble and as a surprise opponent for Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.
The news comes as Hendry is set to team with Thea Hail in a match against Ethan Page and Chelsea Green for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship at NXT Gold Rush on November 18, part of a special event featuring title matches representing NXT, TNA, EVOLVE, and AAA.
