Update on arrests made in murder of former NXT talent

5News in Arkansas has reported that two people have been arrested in connection with the death of retired wrestler Kevin Nikel, who competed in NXT as Knuckles Madsen throughout 2012 and 2013.

Michael Hogue was charged with first-degree murder following an arrest in Fort Smith, with Amanda Perry facing an accomplice to first-degree murder charge upon her arrest in Rogers.

A bond hearing has already taken place, with Benton County Prosecuting Attorney Josh Robinson revealing that Nikel was shot after an argument with Hogue and Penny, leading to his death in July.

The pair are set to appear in court again on January 5, 2026.
