Speaking to Megan Morant ahead of Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series PLE, Stephanie McMahon revealed that she will be serving as a co-host for the event alongside Joe Tessitore for John Cena’s final match on December 13.
Stephanie noted she will have to hold back her emotions during the event.
“I’m actually co-hosting with Joe Tessitore, I’m going to have to reign those emotions in a little bit.”
Cena lost the WWE Intercontinental Title at Saturday’s Survivor Series to Dominik Mysterio after Liv Morgan made her return during the closing moments of the match. Morgan slapped Mysterio in the face, only to end up hitting a low blow on Cena, allowing Mysterio to regain the title after a Frog Splash in front of his hometown crowd in San Diego.
Cena’s final match will take place on Saturday, December 13 as part of Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The event will air live on Peacock in the US and Netflix internationally. The final opponent for Cena is in process with The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
