Report: Backstage notes on WWE Creative team

A report from PWInsider Elite has shed some light on the current creative team within WWE, the subject of the Unreal docuseries set for its Season 2 premiere.

A source within the company noted that Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey handle the everyday operations in WWE’s creative division, with Prichard’s role focused on the overall process while Koskey handles script edits and alignment with the company’s corporate vision.

Ryan Ward is reported to be running point on both Raw and SmackDown, making him another key figure in the weekly storytelling across the brands.

SmackDown’s creative leaders include “Road Dogg” Brian James and John Swikata, with Raw being handled by Alexandra Williams and Jonathan Baeckstrom.

The teams are backed by staff writers who handle storylines, segments, and week-to-week pitches to keep things making sense in the long term.

The process is filtered through Ward, Koskey, and ultimately Paul “Triple H” Levesque, with the chief content officer essentially making the final call on everything before it reaches programming.

Season 2 of WWE: Unreal premieres Tuesday, January 20, airing exclusively on Netflix.
