Updates on contracts for WWE’s R-Truth and AEW’s Queen Aminata

WWE Superstar R-Truth revealed during an interview with TV Insider that the new contract he signed with the company is a four-year deal. Truth also said that the four-years also has a three-year option.

Truth’s previous deal had expired and was not going to be renewed. Truth returned to the company at the Money in the Bank PLE, after backlash from fans when it appeared WWE had no plans on re-signing him. The 53-year old Truth added that he wants to help guide younger talent and that whenever he decides to retire, he would like The Miz to be his final opponent, given their history together.

R-Truth is featured in season 2 of the Netflix series WWE: Unreal that will focus on his departure and return. The second season drops on January 20.

AEW’s Queen Aminata in a video posted to YouTube revealed that she has signed a contract extension, keeping her in the company until February 2027.

“AEW also extended my beautiful, juicy contract until February 2027. What can I say at this point? I’m happy. Even though my neck is messed up right now and I can’t wrestle, I’m very happy and very, very motivated. I can’t wait to go back.”

Aminata last competed on the October 29, 2025 episode of Dynamite. She was scheduled to part of the Women’s Blood & Guts Match back on November 12 but was pulled due to a neck injury. She also had to pull out of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament. There is no timeline of when she will return to in-ring action.
