Former NXT Superstar says he is cleared for unrestricted physical exercise

Former NXT Superstar Ridge Holland (Luke Menzies), posted to social media on Friday, saying he is cleared for unrestricted physical exercise.

“As of today I’m fully cleared to return to unrestricted physical exercise after my 2 level cervical disc replacement I had 8 weeks ago…UNREAL. I just need to get these screws out of my foot next. You can call me the Bionic Yorkshireman!”

Menzies sustained a Lisfranc injury during his match with Moose at a TNA television taping at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada back on September 27, 2025.

WWE terminated Holland’s contract early following comments he made on social media. His current deal was originally set to expire on November 14. However, it is expected that WWE will still pay for any related medical expenses during his recovery period. He is expected to be out of action for at least seven months.

The comment that got Holland in hot water with WWE, was made in a recent X post, which he said he felt “hung out to dry” by WWE and never thought he would not be able make his mortgage payments.
