Deadline reported today that WWE star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has signed on to star as Hercules in the Bret Ratner-directed “Hercules” film coming in 2013. Filming is scheduled to take place in “early 2013” which makes things interesting for The Rock since he has already signed on to appear at Royal Rumble in January in a match for the WWE Title as well as competing at WrestleMania.
