WWE/AEW News Bits: TKO trying to turn Pat McAfee into the next Sylvester Stallone; Kenny Omega’s schedule

According to a new report from Bloomberg, TKO’s CEO Ari Emanuel is trying to turn Pat McAfee into the next Sylvester Stallone.

McAfee is set to star opposite Stallone in four episodes of the Paramount+ show, “Tulsa King.” McAfee also is set to play a drill instructor in the new upcoming Netflix film “The Mosquito Bowl.”

There have been reports, including from Fightful Select, that McAfee is expected back in WWE soon.

Per Fightful Select, Kenny Omega is not planned to wrestle at AEW’s Revolution PPV on March 15. The report further notes that he informed AEW of a scheduling conflict months ago, which is why he and Swerve Strickland had their match on the 2/18 Dynamite.

After their match on Dynamite Wednesday night, Swerve turned on Omega by attacking him, seemingly turning heel in the process.
